Happy Spring
Please contact me if you cannot find an answer to your question.
My products are handcrafted in small batches using thoughtfully selected ingredients such as plant-based oils, butters, botanicals, and other skin-loving ingredients. Many of my recipes include ingredients like olive oil, coconut oil, shea butter, beeswax, and herbal infusions.
I focus on creating simple, nourishing formulas inspired by nature and the beauty of Alaska. Each product page includes a full ingredient list so you can see exactly what is in the products you are using on your skin.
Because my products are handmade, slight variations in color, scent, and appearance may occur from batch to batch.
Many customers with sensitive skin enjoy my products because they are made with thoughtfully selected ingredients and simple formulas. However, every person’s skin is different, and sensitivities can vary from one individual to another.
If you have sensitive skin or known allergies, I recommend reviewing the full ingredient list on each product page and performing a small patch test before using a new product more widely. If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult a healthcare professional if needed.
Some of my products contain ingredients derived from nuts and grains. Many of my soaps include shea butter, which comes from the shea nut. Products containing oats may also contain gluten.
All products are handcrafted in the same workspace, so cross-contact with nut or gluten-containing ingredients is possible. If you have a severe allergy or sensitivity, please use caution and consult your healthcare provider before using any new skincare products.
Handmade soap is typically made in small batches using nourishing oils and butters that help support the skin while gently cleansing. Unlike many commercial soaps, handmade soap naturally retains glycerin, a humectant that helps attract moisture to the skin.
Many mass-produced soaps remove glycerin during manufacturing and may contain synthetic detergents or harsh ingredients that can leave skin feeling dry or tight. Handmade soap is usually made with simpler ingredients and traditional methods that focus on quality rather than large-scale production.
Because each bar is handcrafted, variations in color and design are natural and part of what makes handmade soap unique.
The life of a handmade soap bar can vary depending on how often it is used and how it is stored between uses. On average, a bar of handmade soap will last about 3–4 weeks with regular daily use.
To help your soap last longer, it is best to keep it on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry between uses. Handmade soap does not contain the hardening agents often found in commercial soaps, so keeping it dry will help extend its life.
If stored in a cool, dry place away from moisture, unused bars of handmade soap can remain fresh for many months.
To help your handmade soap last as long as possible, it is best to keep it on a well-draining soap dish and allow it to dry completely between uses. Handmade soap naturally contains glycerin and does not include the hardening agents often found in commercial soaps, so proper drainage helps prevent the bar from becoming soft.
Unused bars should be stored in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and moisture. When stored properly, handmade soap can remain fresh for many months.
Most of my cream lotions, lotion sticks, lip balms, and body oils have a shelf life of approximately 6–12 months when stored properly.
To help maintain freshness and quality, store products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat. Because my products are handcrafted in small batches using natural ingredients, slight variations in texture or scent may occur over time.
For best results, always use clean, dry hands when applying products and keep containers tightly closed when not in use.
